NOTE: To keep a Miniature Schnauzer groomed in the
same manner as a show dog, hand stripping of the coat is required. Most pet Schnauzers are clipped, not
stripped. The clippered coat will
gradually soften and the colour will become the same as the dog’s undercoat. Grooming
will be required every 6 – 8 weeks to maintain the stylized look of the breed.
