Mynah was evaluated as the pick puppy of the litter, and went back to the co-breeder Catherine McMillan of Minuteman Miniature Schnauzers. That is why she has Minuteman as her kennel prefix instead of Imagine like her littermates. She, of course, was my personal favorite out of the litter and I'd hoped to keep her for myself. Unfortunately for Minuteman, but fortunately for me, Mynah did not mature big enough to be competative in the show ring. When the opportunity came to get Mynah back, I jumped at the chance. Having always had a soft spot for this girl, I decided to clip her down and keep her as a pet.

Mynah is quite the girl... into everything and a bit of a "free spirit". I decided to breed her to Digby to see if he could produce puppies of the required size for the show ring. Mynah was a wonderful mother and the litter produced some nice puppies.

As much as I love Mynah, it become apparent that she did not thrive in a multiple dog household. She was spayed and placed in a pet home with an elderly woman. The match was perfect, and they were the best of companions. Unfortunately, the woman's health deteriorated to the point where she felt she could no longer care for Mynah and she was returned to me. Mynah is available again to another pet home. Mynah is very people oriented and can be usually found "glued" to your leg... earning her the "velcro dog" nickname! She's a very sweet and affectionate girl, and not the bravest dog in the world. Though she hasn't sought them out, Mynah has been tolerant of visiting children. She's good with other dogs and cats. She's been crate trained, travels well and is overall a very well-mannered girl. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog... or at least, not one of several.
